Thomas Packaging will be at Interphex 2017 at booth 3041 with our parent company, Thomas Engineering. The show this year is in New York’s Javit’s Center convention hall from March 21 through March 23. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the show runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Thursday it runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This year, Thomas Packaging will be introducing two new products. We will have a new serialization system from our partners, Lixis and Verifarma and we will have the latest VisionScan non-destructive leak tester from our partner, Sepha.
Thomas Packaging recently partnered with two companies, Lixis, and Verifarma, to offer track and trace serialization systems in North America. Lixis and Verifarma are based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where serialization has been the law for several years. They each have years of experience in the industry with over 1000 implementations. Lixis makes serialization and aggregation systems to retrofit to your existing packaging lines. Verifarma offers track and trace software that takes the serialization data and stores it in a cloud based system and transfers the data to your downstream partners. Sepha VisionScan Non Destructive Leak Tester
The VisionScan is a tool-less, non-destructive leak detection device for pharmaceutical blister packs. This deterministic test method provides an accurate and objective assessment of blister packaging integrity. Since its launch in 2011, the Sepha VisionScan has received widespread industry acceptance. The latest model, being introduced this year at Interphex 2017, incorporates a new, compact, lightweight design made from a GMP and FDA compliant polymer construction and an easy to use touchscreen interface. This advancement results in an improved test time as well as more efficient testing with the same high level of accuracy. With the new model, you can run a test in as little as 5 seconds per pack. The machine’s footprint is less than half a meter square and it is roughly half a meter tall so it easily fits on any laboratory table.
We will also have a selection of tablet press tooling and tablet coaters from our parent division, Thomas Engineering. Stop by our booth, number 3041, to see any of these new products.
